In 2009, they released their ironically titled debut The Very Very Best of Gleeson, a record Chandler called their crack at a “Mag Earwhig!”-style recording approach. The album’s epic 11-minute centerpiece, “Call to Arms”, is considered by Chandler to be the band’s greatest song.
