Ioannes "Giannis" Spanos (Ιωάννης Γιάννης Σπανός, Kiato, Corinthia, Greece, 26 July 1934 – 31 October 2019), also known as Yannis Spanos, was a Greek music composer and lyricist. In his early days as a musician he was also a piano accompanist. Spanos won the music prize at the 1971 Thessaloniki Film Festival for composing the score of the film Ekeino to kalokairi. Spanos was born in Kiato (Κιάτο) a town in the northern part of Corinthia in the Peloponnese, Greece. His father was a dentist.
