Gheestenland was founded back in 2003 in the far north of The Netherlands. As a one-man band, Gheest recorded the demo "Volkerenmoord" released by sadolust-records in 2003. Limited to 99 copy's. New songs were written and Swerc joined the band on drums. Together they recorded the promo "Gitzwart" and released it themselves in 2005.
