George Stevens Biography Born in 1966, George has been intrigued by and involved in music since childhood and soon started playing in bands as a vocalist and drummer during teenage years. In 1989 he enrolled on a musical instrument making course at the London Metropolitan University (as it now is) researching and making early plucked instruments. Five years later he had attained a BSc. Hons and has continued making specialist instruments ever since for amateurs and professionals around the world. He has currently made over 200 instruments.
