Georg Wilhelm Gruber (September 22, 1729 in Nuremberg – September 22, 1796 in Nuremberg) was a German composer and violinist. Georg Wilhelm Gruber received his first music lessons from the organist Cornelius Heinrich Dretzel (1697–1775) and was already in municipal service at the age of seven.
