Geek Street started out in 2006 - initially as two bands. Parts of the two bands fused together to represent Ecclesfield School in a Battle of the Bands. After only 4 hours of practise - they came second, so they decided to stay as a band. After going on to play many gigs in the Sheffield area, Geek Street went through some turbulent times and eventually disbanded for a time. In late 2007, though, they partly reformed to form the new band Someone Else. However, Someone Else also disbanded in June 2008.
