Galaxy-Lin was a short-lived seventies progressive rock band from The Hague, The Netherlands. The group was the brainchild of guitarist and songwriter Robbie van Leeuwen, who established Galaxy-Lin following his departure from Shocking Blue, with which band he had enjoyed chart success worldwide ('Venus').

Tired of international touring, Van Leeuwen quit Shocking Blue in 1974 and started Galaxy-Lin, his progressive rock outing: in this new band he insisted on playing electric mandolin instead of guitar. The band, active between 1974 and 1976, also featured singer Rudy Bennett, with whom Van Leeuwen had enjoyed considerable domestic chart success in the mid-1960s, in early The Hague beat band The Motions. Also in Galaxy-Lin was Dick Remelink (sax!), of Ekseption fame.

Galaxy-Lin recorded two albums: Galaxy-Lin (1975) and "G" (1976). Both LPs were well received by critics, but failed commercially. Galaxy-Lin shared stages with Roxy Music and Golden Earring, before calling it a day in 1976.
