FunkAbilities are a six-piece band from Haarlem, the Netherlands, founded in 2005. Their style is a mixture of funk, hiphop, ska, pop and rock. They consist of front-man Josh, guitarist Edgy, bassplayer U-Niek, trumpetist Rian, MyKey-Mike on piano and Gill on drums. In 2006, after only a few live shows, they were nominated for the 'Rob Acda Award', which they eventually won, together with the 'Dommelsch Publieksprijs'.
