In mid-2014, it was announced that Maryland/Pennsylvanian grindcore band Full of Hell had signed with Profound Lore. Their debut release on this label is a full-length collaboration with the Japanese noise legend Masami Akita, aka Merzbow. Vocalist Dylan Walker said in an interview that they met Balázs Pándi at a show in Brooklyn who enjoyed their set and, as Merzbow's drummer, suggested that they record a split with Akita.
