From Light To Sound are a synth-powered shoegaze krautrock band from Oxford, blending Mogwai's crescendos, Neu!'s relentless motorik and Cluster's groundbreaking analogue explorations. Formed in 2008, the band features members of The Workhouse, Sunnyvale Noise Sub-element, The Evenings, eeebleee and The Thumb Quintet. In their first year, FLTS became one of the most widely talked-about bands in Oxford, selling out their first EP, appearing at the Truck Festival and playing alongside the likes of Wavves and The Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
