Robotic dance duo Fotostat consisted of twin brothers Glenn and Mark Robertson. Glenn started doing robotics in 1978 in the local nightclubs in Colchester Essex. He danced to such artists as Kraftwerk, Visage and David Bowie. The brothers moved to London in 1980 to form a band. In the meantime, as Fotostat they began doing robotic dancing at Xenon and Stringfellows.
