Fly Trio is a leaderless jazz working group, that consists of three American influential musicans: Mark Turner (tenor saxophone), Larry Grenadier (double bass) and Jeff Ballard (drums). Although origins of the trio could be traced back to the mid-1990s, or even to the Ballard-Grenadier teenage years in Northern California, their first (self-titeled) album was released in 2004 by Savoy Jazz label. Second recording, called Sky & Country was made for ECM and has its premiere April 2009. The official website is: http://www.flytrio.com/
