Etcetera (US) began as an experimental project spurned of two brothers, Doug Francis and Thomas Turbeville. Both Doug and Thomas were tired of watered-down, predictable music and yearned for something less common. With the help of the internet, the NC natives tracked down NY bassist Thom Melillo in late 2005. As a three piece, the members played numerous shows in the NC area, but it wasn't until Winter 2006 when the band found its last member, lead guitarist Justin Newman.
