In June 2011 Subtext Recordings was restarted after a 6 year hiatus for the release of the second LP from Emptyset titled Demiurge. This album represented a transition from the first two Subtext releases, a pair of seminal experimental recordings from the groundbreaking duo Vex'd, switching path into a new terrain that allowed for the distortion and dissolution of the sequencer grid and shifted the focus of the label from the programmed to the composed.
