Elfsquad is a DIY indie-rock project led by Omaha, NE songwriter E. Foo. Drawing influence from lo-fi punk acts such as Jay Reatard, Wavves, and Japanther, Elfsquad's music generally showcases thrashy guitars, accompanied with a drum machine and wailing vocals. He also notes that many of the songs are written impromptu and recorded on the spot, making them difficult to recreate onstage.
