Electric Shocks (2001- 2006) were a London, UK based garage punk / post punk rock band known for their fast, aggressive, melodic and uplifting musical style, described as "rock n roll the way nature intended". They were formed by singer Dan Hardy and rhythm guitarist Dave Taylor of the indie band Tea. Joined by lead guitarist Kaoru Sato (formerly of Six Inch Killaz), the trio began to write new material and seek other members. Dan and Dave left Tea soon afterwards.
