El sanchez were formed on the northern beaches of wollongong around 2000 . The brain child of Al Lynch ( Fridge, Tumbleweed ) . Joining him in the line up was long time freinds Phil Lally ( Fridge, Tumbleweed ) on bass and Greg Eshman ( Thumlock, Jed Whitey ) on drums. The band more or less started through sharing very similar music tastes and through surfing together and smoking on the sweet leaf . The band played a number of shows through out nsw and vic and recorded two seperate ep's that still to this day have not been released. The band is influenced by 70's zz top… read more
