Edward II (known also as EII, and previously as Edward the Second and the Red Hot Polkas and e2K) is a British band originally formed in Cheltenham in 1984. With a unique style of music that could be described as the dance rhythms of the Caribbean blended with tradition-rooted English country dance tunes, the band broke up after losing several key members in 1999, relaunching as "e2K" in 2000.
