I remember discovering this album in the summer of 08. It was hot, but not as hot as usual, but it was muggy as hell because it was a El Nino year and halfway through I was in some kind of heat daze as I was hiking, it was beautiful. I haven't listened to this album since my cousin died about 4 years after, its been the first time since, 12 years later. This is still the perfect soundscape to go down memory lane, hikes or nice long drives.

what a great album cover. Never listened to this band before but it sounds very good. Takes me to a rural place with many trees, a forest nearby, fields of flowers and stinging nettles. And a beekeeping but with no beekeeper or any other person around. And It's a sunny day. A great imaginary place far away from busy city life. And what a nice scent the flowers have.

Wonderful stuff. You can't go wrong with any of the re-formed Earth's albums, but The Bees Made Honey... is particularly strong. Like all the best music across every genre, these 7 songs take you to another place while you're listening to them. They paint vivid landscapes that the listener is thrown in to and will not want to leave.

I really wonder how the meditative energy of this record could be set forth... it does sound quite atmospheric

Yes, a fine choice indeed... You get the best cover art ever and amazing music as well.. I would buy it even if the music wasn't included.. just so I could stare at it for hours.. and vise versa.
