Their sound has become more eccentric over time, incorporating moments of punk, prog, post-rock, funk, and power pop. The only constant in their lineup has been drummer Thomas St.Vincent Bonnay, who co-founded the group with two high school classmates, bassist Ian Gloom and keyboardist Ivan Goldwrench.
