Formed in 1991, they are one of India’s first Metal bands, under the Doom/Death Metal genre, they are one of the pioneers of the genre in India. They were originally formed as Misanthrope. The band split up in 2002 and reformed in 2011. They have released a self titled demo “Dying Embrace” in 1998. They have also released three EPs, “Serenades Of Depravity”, “Grotesque”, “Misanthrope” in 2000, 2000 and 2002 respectively. Dying Embrace consists of Jimmy Palkhivala (guitar), Vikram Bhat (Vocals) and Deepak Raghu (Drums).
