He played the instruments on all major stages in the world and made the taragot known all over the world. The taragot is a Hungarian/Romanian/Turkish reed instrument related to the saxophone and clarinet. He studied music at the "Gheorghe Dima" Academy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and he is the founder and chief of the "Mărțișorul" Artistic Ensemble for students in Cluj-Napoca.
