Duane Eddy (born in Corning, New York, on 26 April 1938; died 30 April 2024) was a Grammy Award-winning American rock and roll guitarist remembered for his characteristically "twangy" sound on singles such as "Rebel-'Rouser", "Peter Gunn", and "Because They're Young in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
