Dragon Head was formed in 2004 as a side project by Kagrra, members Nao, Izumi and Akiya. The band was a reformation of a childhood 'band' that Nao and Izumi were a part of when they were younger. Nao was the vocalist/basist, Akiya on Guitar and backing vocals, and Izumi on drums and backing vocals. Some people might say that Dragon Head was nothing like Kagrra,, and was created merely as a 'gimmick' more than anything.
