Chris Smith is a doctor and a scientist. In 2001 he completed a medical degree and a PhD in herpes virology on the Cambridge University MB / PhD programme. Chris started The Naked Scientists Radio Show, its predecessor, ScienceWorld, and is also the driving force behind this website (with huge thanks due also to the team at CARET). Chris is a clinical lecturer and specialist registrar in virology at Cambridge University.
