Originally meeting at a party under a Cathedral in Normandy Muriel Annic and Richard Payne defied the tyranny of distance and soon embarked on a trans global song writing project. It seemed appropriate that the bands name would be taken from the classic Ultravox tune : "..somehow we drifted off too far, communicate like distant stars".
