Dead by 28 has been lurking in the stagnant Detroit Music scene since 1999. In 2001 they became the first band signed to Legendery Detroit Producer Mike E. Clark's record lable B4 Records and remained on the lable until it folded in 2004. B4 Records released thier Debut CD entitled "The Spawning" in 2002 to critical hatred and they recieved the first ever Zero rating in "Alternative Press" magazine.
