Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) is the fourteenth studio album by David Bowie, released on September 12, 1980, by RCA Records. It marked his return to a more commercial approach following the experimental Berlin Trilogy (Low, "Heroes" and Lodger). Produced with Tony Visconti, it combines art rock, new wave, and post-punk elements, presenting a sharper, more structured sound than his previous improvisational work.
