Dave got interested in guitar in high school after hearing the instrumental, "Blue Monday", by White Lion at a friend's house. He told his friend that he wanted to play guitar, and the friend actually had a cheap one laying around that he gave him. Dave was in a progressive rock band, and an acoustic duo in college.
