He has played in his own eponymous band, Greenslade, and others including Colosseum, If and Chris Farlowe's Thunderbirds. As a solo artist, Greenslade moved away from the R&B influences of Farlowe, and brought together a vast array of synthesizers to create an intensely surrealistic sound.
