Born and raised in Montreal’s Little Burgundy neighborhood, home of legendary greats Oscar Peterson and Oliver Jones, Datdude has always had music running through his veins. His father was a singer/guitarist in a reggae band and his mother filled their apartment with the sounds of R&B. In DatDude’s late teens he enrolled in a sound engineering course, giving him the skills to produce the music he always wanted to make.
