D'ERLANGER is a Japanese band that is widely considered to be a part of and important to the formation of visual kei, a Japanese music subculture which bands like LUNA SEA & 黒夢 (Kuroyume) belong to. The band formed in 1983 and had disbanded seven years later (apparently due to management issues) in 1990. Their guitarist, CIPHER, was only 15 years old at the time of their formation.
