Probably more obscure and more hard to find than Viva La Dregs is the acoustic-folk of Nashville-based Curnutte & Maher. The duo formed in the early 90’s and were defunct a few years later. Steven Curnutte and Matt Maher played up and down the Southeast touring college campuses and eventually broke up. They reformed with Nashville friend Grey Garner and formed the U2-influenced Lackey which released an incredible self-titled disc that got good press but never really took off.
