Crowns on 45 formed in the summer of 1999 as a three-piece (2 guitars and drums) when Hellskiss, Ernesto and Chris first met in a fateful New Jersey practice space and 'bashed out' their first song together, "Walking In Squares". After a while Ernesto headed off to L.A. to write, direct and produce movies (such as 'Better Luck Tomorrow'). Soon after this Jed joined the band; he was the first Crowns bassist.
