This page represents several bands/musicians with the same name.
One of them is Corey, an Italian band that mixes grindcore with a touch of hardcore. Another one is the music recorded by Last Fm user C-Dizzle, also named Corey. He writes his own music and records it, ranging from blues to metal to progressive to metalcore.
Another artist is the Amsterdam female soul singer Corey.
She has released her full-length debut album "Movin' On" in 2006 (It Won't Stop Productions). It has received very favorable reviews from the Dutch press and elsewhere and is for sale at http://www.corey.nl, cdbaby.com, itunes etc.
The cd is best categorised as what is often called neo soul: soulful vocals mixed with organic hip-hop like grooves, funky basslines, jazzy sounds and honest heartfelt lyrics. Similar artists include Jill Scott, Angie Stone, Leelah, James, Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Donnie, Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, etc.
Another artist is Corey, or Kors.51, the half-brother of late rapper, XXXTENTACION, who recorded the intro for Members Only Vol. 4.
