Cordis Die is (currently) the one man metal project of guitarist Oscar Sean Banks, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The band draws influence from technical death metal, melodic death metal, deathcore, alternative metal and industrial rock acts such as In Flames, All Shall Perish, After The Burial, Between the Buried and Me, A Plea For Purging, Nine Inch Nails, and Deftones (to name a very few). The bands name is derived from the terrorist organization Cordis Die, led by Raul Menendez, the primary antagonist of the game Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
