New Zealander Dale Cotton, who whilst often busy in the studios nationwide producing, mixing, mastering, or remastering acts such as HDU, Dimmer, Sola Rosa, Die! Die! Die!, and Toy Love, still managed to find time to release 'Mefasolate' under the Conray moniker in 2003. His solo work reflects his interest in dub, downbeat, jazz, house, techno, ambient, and electronica, with a healthy dose of organic instrumentation and vocal flourishes. Cotton has confessed to working on a new album, which may or may not surface in 2007.
