This all-star mid 1990's jazz album featured Hammond B-3 organist Dr. Lonnie Smith, drummer Lenny White, tenor saxophonist Craig Handy, trombonist Papo Vazquez and guitarists David Fiuczynski, Hiram Bullock and John Scofield in trio, quartet and quintet formats. The assorted players delivered some no-nonsense straight ahead tribute versions of the classic compositions of Blue Note Records' 1960's "soul-jazz" period
