Canamii is an obscure South African female-fronted progressive folk rock band with vocals by Claire Whittaker. Their sound has much in common with mid 70s UK progressive groups. A must-have for all Spriguns, Renaissance and early Curved Air fans. Canamii was a studio project conceived by EMI South Africa sound engineers Phillip Nel and Claire Whittaker.
