Linden, NJ (2009 - present) Beginning in the winter of 2004, lead singer Jim Gilligan of what has now become Canamara, started his first band consisting of a few local musicians. After recording a short EP and performing at The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ the band later broke up. Jim continued to pursue the music writing songs in his basement while working on forming another band. A few years later another project followed but was short lived due to some musical differences.
