The Brian Travis Band formed in Hollywood in December 2002. The style of music is classic California rock 'n roll with a vintage 70's sound influenced by such rock artists as The Kinks, The Beatles, The Stones, early Tom Petty, David Bowie and Queen. Expanding their fan base beyond Los Angeles, the band have toured the west coast and the UK. In fall of 2004 the group completed a 19 date UK club tour playing venues in Wales, England, Scotland and Ireland.
