Blues breaker appeared first on the 'Star Fleet Project EP' with Van Halen. The entire track is 100% Improv on the parts of the artists, though it's my understanding that there was some studio engineering after the fact. For those that don't know, Star Fleet was a kids TV show in the late 70s/early 80s about a race of beings attempting to steal the secret F-0-1. Paul Bliss wrote the origional theme tune (I think that's his name). Brian May heard the song and became ever so slightly obsessed with performing a hard rock version of the song.
