Bodyhost formed in the summer of 2005 when guitarists Andy Stewart and Josh Penfold, bassist Krys Bascombe and drummer Simon 'Box' Hudson began making music together in the hope of soon finding a vocalist. After trying a few people out, Tom Brittle was recommended to them and it was instantly clear that he was the right man for the job. Bodyhost became a five-piece full line-up rock band.
