"Song 2" is a song by English alternative rock band Blur, the second track from their 1997 self-titled fifth studio album. The riff-based track, known for its overdriven chorus, is among the best-known songs the band has recorded, and easily their best known in North America. The hook features Damon Albarn yelling "woo-hoo!" as the guitars come crashing in. Released in April 1997, "Song 2" reached number two in the UK Singles Chart, number four on the Australian ARIA Charts, and number six on on US Billboard Modern Rock Tracks Chart.

Blur is an alternative rock band which formed in Colchester, England in 1989. The band consists of Damon Albarn (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Graham Coxon (guitar, vocals), Alex James (bass) and Dave Rowntree (drums). Blur's debut album Leisure (1991) incorporated the sounds of Madchester and Shoegazing and spawned their first UK Top 10 single, There's No Other Way.
