Blue Steam were a band on the late-1970s punk scene in Belfast, United Kingdom. Signing to the Rip-Off label they released their sole single, 'Lizard King' b/w 'Cortina Cowboys', in August 1978, with both of its sides also appearing on the following month's sampler LP, 'Belfast Rock'. Personnel: David Kirkwood (vocals, harmonica), John Nelson (guitar), Simon Lloyd (sax), Dave Bloomfield (keyboards), Joe Sharpe (bass) and John Lee (drums).
