He began producing music in 2010 under the stage name Blood Diamonds, and is currently working under the name BloodPop®. Tucker became interested in music at age seventeen, while studying at Kansas City Art Institute. He has cited M83's album Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts as an inspiration.
