Bird On A Wire (in Chinese, jing gong zhi niao) was formed in 1998 by four students from East China University of Science and Technology located at the southern part of Shanghai. They are Bunny (Guitar), Jjay (Vocal), Dingding (Bass) and Tang BB (Drum). With the great passion for the classic American band Television and the British post-punk music, they started to rehears their own materials in a wasted trash room located at a nearby high school.
