Bill Bourne (born William Sigurd Bourne in Red Deer, Alberta, on 28 March 1954; died 16 April 2022) was a Canadian musician and songwriter. A multiple Canadian Juno Award nominee and winner, Bourne used traditional music elements from around the world. As well as his solo work, he was one half of the duos Bourne & MacLeod (with Alan MacLeod ) and Bill Bourne & Shannon Johnson, and was a member of Scottish band The Tannahill Weavers and, from 2000, the string collective Tri Continental.
