Formed in 1997, the original line-up consisted of Greg Smith on guitar/vocals, Russell Griffiths on bass, and Kelly Parker (at the time Kelly Southern) on drums. The band developed a strong local following through their links with local acts like The Starries and Birmingham based independent label, Bearos Records.
