Balloon Astronomy are a band from San Diego, California, the collaboration of long-time friends who share a love of the music of the classic progressive era.
They number among their influences: Genesis, Jethro Tull, Strawbs, Mike Oldfield, Supertramp, Spock's Beard, Neil Finn, Eleven, Kevin Gilbert, Elton John, and Cat Stevens.
